Saints and the Hail Mary

     St. Bonaventure assures us that whoever addresses the Virgin with the Hail Mary, will in turn be blessed by Mary with some grace. St. Bernard, who was accustomed to greet Mary whenever he saw her picture, one day heard his greeting answered with the words: "Hail Bernard."

    St. Alphonse de Liguori would interrupt any activity at the sound of church bells to say the Hail Mary.

    St. Catherine of Siena began at the age of five to recite as many Hail Marys as the number of steps she climbed. 

    St. Bernard says that heaven smiles and the angels rejoice every time the Hail Mary is said with devotion. 

    Cesario calls the angelical salutation the voice of triumph, and St. Ephrem terms it the hymn and canticle of angels.

Our Lady of Fatima's promise with regard to the Rosary

The Most Holy Virgin, in these last times in which we live, has given a new efficacy to the recitation of the Rosary to such an extent that there is no problem, no matter how difficult it is, temporal or especially spiritual, in the personal life of each one of us, of our families, of the families of the world or of the religious communities, or even of the life of peoples and nations, that cannot be solved by the Rosary.

There is no problem, I tell you, no matter how difficult it is, that we cannot resolve by the prayer of the Holy Rosary. With the Holy Rosary we will save ourselves. We will console Our Lord and obtain the salvation of many souls.
